Checked out of the hotel this morning. Went to have breakfast with my love, my dad, and my three beautiful little ladies. Then we spent several hours roaming Katy Mills before we had to take paw-paw to the airport. It feels like the day flew by. I managed to oddly enough pick up a few Christmas gifts. The girls enjoyed the play area, ice cream with paw-paw, and love the new books daddy & I bought them. We even got Budah & maw-maw a little something too!

It was a great day all the way until we pulled up to the airport and then we had a car full of heart broken little gals. They were crushed to see paw-paw leave and cried their little eyes out. It was so sad. We can’t wait to see him again in a few months. Until then there will be the usual daily facetime of course. We all miss him already. After our goodbyes with paw-paw we started the drive to Sealy to have dinner with my cousin, Joe (Buggie’s paran), and his lovely wife, Sandra, to celebrate Joe’s birthday a few days early. Buggie was so excited to help me pick out his birthday cake & gift.

Now we have three little cuties sound asleep as daddy drives us the rest of the way home. It was a quick trip. But we are so thankful to have had time with my dad, my friend Melissa & her family, Joe, and Sandra this weekend. Looking forward to getting home and give that boy of ours a hug and maw-maw too!
