We all have those days. Today seems to have been one of them for all of these lil monsters. I could easily only post all of the good things on my blog about our family and paint a picture perfect life. But come on, lets be real there is no such thing! Kiddos can be real lil monsters and Lord knows mine are no exception to the rule!
It’s been quite a day! Budah has a teenage chip on his shoulder today that he obviously can’t shake. After a full weekend of hanging out with friends, he woke up this morning with a pretty high and mighty attitude and obviously forgot I am his mom and not one of his little friends. At one point Buggie decided we need to get rid of him because he was teasing her and annoying her too. Then there is Buggie. We are going through an interesting phase here lately where she is testing her boundaries. It doesn’t matter what you say she will argue it and if it doesn’t go her way bring on the fit.
Bunny came home and had a melt down over a toy someone gave her that was mysteriously broken. It doesn’t matter how crafty I would like to think I am, try as I may I just can’t fix everything. This would be one of those times. Then it seems as though my precious little Bitty is all too quickly approaching those wonderful terrible twos! Say it ain’t so! Oh my word. Way too many melt downs happening today!
With that said, I absolutely adore these four crazy lil monsters. Not every day or moment is all peachy. But the ones that are makes these rough days manageable! It also helps to know I will someday get to watch them be parents of teenagers too, and that makes me smile! Thankful bedtime will be here before we know it and God willing tomorrow will be a better day!
