I was pretty sad to watch Matt go back to work and our little ladies head back to school today. It was almost too quiet. Though Najah seemed to be completely content following me around all day. The first few days back into our normal routines are always the hardest. I love the days that we get to just be together and not think about much else.

This evening we met Matt’s old army buddy for dinner. I love watching these two fellas together. I got to meet Raven a few years ago when we drove to Odessa for his retirement party right before he and his lovely wife moved to Germany. 

Now to decide if I have enough energy to go through some of the Mardi Gras loot to send to school with the girls to share with their friends.
