Heading home after a weeks worth of fun & family time! It’s been a fabulous vacay!

The picture below is at a gift shop on Padre Island. I waited all week to go there and take some pictures of our monsters. Something about it made me think of my dad. Maybe it’s the huge mermaid tattoo on his chest? I don’t know. All things related to the ocean & diving remind me of him.

So we spent our week exploring Corpus Christi, Padre Island, Mustang Island, & Port A. Those days sure did fly by. Yet I think all of us with the exception of Buggie are ready to go home. Then again she is the one that Keeps saying she misses her Maw-Maw & Najah the most!

We cherish all of the memories we are blessed enough to create with our 4 lil monsters. Before we know it Budah will be out in the world starting his adult life. So we are gonna squeeze all of the vacays we can in that he can join us on before that happens!

It’s a little funny the things parents do that their children are oblivious to. Yes, we were on vacation, but our mama & daddy duties didn’t stop. I still washed two to three loads of clothes daily. Daddy & I still juggled cooking, cleaning, and constantly picking up after our monsters. But it was nice to have the help and support of my better half to make those blah moments fly by quickly to continue the fun with these kiddos of ours.

Time to get back to the real world and chaos we call life. Gotta get these monsters ready for school. My love will be getting back to work in a few days. And I need to make some appointments for the monsters annual pictures! So bring on the chaos…we’re ready!
